Committee Responsibilities
Administrative Reporting - Suspended
Bulletin - Publishes and mails the Chapter bulletin and maintains the mailing list. Publishes the August through July bulletins.
Bylaws and Master Roster - Review Bylaws and Standing Rules annually, drafts and recommends revisions. 
Maintains and issues membership roster. Produces labels for printed bulletin mailing. Provides list for bulletins by email.
Chapter Development - Suspended
Education and Legislation - Conducts educational seminars and study sessions. Keeps members informed of new and proposed legislation and changes in professional standards. The Education and Legislation Committee shall maintain the Continuing Professional Education records, including attendance and presentation outline.
Executive - The Executive Committee is composed of the President, President Elect, the two Vice Presidents, and the Immediate Past President. Each member of the Executive Committee shall provide oversight of such standing committees as are assigned by the President and approved by the Executive Committee. The intent is to free the President from administrative details in favor of the important leadership and public relations aspects of that office. Oversight of the committee includes recruiting and appointing chairperson, providing guidance to the chairperson in getting started, goal setting, and reporting and initiating quarterly meetings with the chairpersons.
Fall Seminar - Inactive.
Finance - Prepares, recommends, and monitors annual budget. Reviews adherence to budget and management of funds.
Hospitality - Makes the arrangements for meetings, menu and location. Collects payments made at the door. Greets all guests. Promotes potential member registration. Makes arrangements for the August through July regular meetings. Tracks member attendance over the year.
Long Range Planning - Conducts ongoing review of the Chapter, recommending long- and short-range goals for matching Chapter activities to the professional needs of the area's women accountants and financial managers.
Membership and Member Relations- Solicits and handles applications for membership. Welcomes new members and helps them to take advantage of Chapter activities.
Welcomes new members through orientation meetings and presentation of a Chapter Orientation Manual. Hosts annual New Member Social. Organizes Christmas social event. Maintains contact with existing members, encouraging their ASWA participation and learning how ASWA can best serve members' professional and career needs. 
Nominating - Prepares a list of nominees of officers and directors. It is recommended that the President Elect be selected from members who have served on the Board for at least 2 years. It is recommended that the Past President be chosen as the Board of Director's representative on the nominating committee.
Program - Schedules dinner meeting programs from the August through July regular meetings.
Public Relations -  Suspended
Publicity - Notifies local media of Chapter professional meetings and activities. Sends news releases and collects clippings. Sends notifications covering the August through July meetings.
Student Activities - Suspended
Technical, Yearbook, Employment - Website maintenance -implement, improve, and update. Maintains sponsor to cover annual fees. Assists in posting monthly bulletin to web site.
Takes pictures at events and meetings and maintains a chronicle of chapter events on the website.
Submits job opportunities, and information about members seeking employment, to bulletin chair. Establish policy for posting employment opportunities.
