American Society of Women Accountants
Membership
The benefits of membership in ASWA include: Fear of Speaking Help! There are five classes of membership, which are described here. If you are interested in becoming a member, please go to http://www.aswa.org/join
Leadership often involves public speaking, which is difficult for many. ASWA offers a safe environment for you to develope your speaking skills. At every meeting each person is given an opportunity to stand up and speak to the group with a brief introdruction. This has helped many of us become more comfortable with speaking to groups, or at business meetings, and often is a required job skill as professionals.
