The Foundation has awarded our chapter two full Becker CPA Review Scholarship and a full Yaeger CPA Review Scholarship!

Becker CPA Review  awarded to  Laurel Berry-Huff

 Laurel is a senior in the accounting department at Western Washington University.   She will be pursuing a Masters Degree in Taxation from the University of Washington in Seattle.   She is involved with our financial literacy campaign through her participation in our YWCA/ASWA alliance and in her role as coordinator of MoneySense Financial Literacy with WWU Beta Alpha Psi.    Laurel is committed to her current and future participation in ASWA, in Bellingham while attending WWU and in Seattle as a graduate student.

Yaeger CPA Review awarded to Paula TaylorMonthly Chapter Bulletins

Paula is a mother of two children who received her accounting degree while raising her children and working fulltime.   She has tried to pass the CPA exam and knows that this scholarship will greatly improve her chances of passing the exam and achieving her goal of becoming a CPA.   Paula is supportive of our financial literacy campaign and will be participating in our “YWCA/ ASWA Mentor Training Program” and assisting women with their financial fitness.
